Part-time ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT - Responsible for providing a broad variety of accounting and clerical support to the Accounting and Member Service Department personnel. Responsibilities include assisting with the maintenance of accounting journals, processing daily accounting and CD interest entries, reconciling daily teller activities, conducting loan audits, processing accounts payable transactions and checks, balancing bank statements and assisting with other various financial tasks and reports, working daily returns, and processing wires. Approximately 25 hours/week. One year of previous Accountant experience or 2 years higher education focusing on Accounting or Finance is preferred.
